Standard Package FAQs

Wednesday 8th July

Arrive at the Guards Museum from 5:45pm for drinks and canapes, with time for a self-guided or audio tour

Deaprt for the concert at 6:30pm, leaving time to clear security checks

Concert starts at 7:30pm, and finishes at approximately 8:45pm

The Guards Museum is on Birdcage Walk (SW1E 6HQ), accessible via a number of mainline railway stations, Underground stations, and bus routes.

Nearest Train Stations: Charing Cross, Victoria

Nearest Tube Stations: Westminster, Embankment, St James's Park, Charing Cross

To reach Horse Guards Parade, you will need to walk approximately 15 minutes through St.James's Park to the security checkpoint.

Full details will be provided when you are sent your tickets.

There is no dress code, please dress according to the weather on the day.

The stands are not covered.

Weather: This is an uncovered outdoor event.  Please be aware of the weather.  Umbrellas are not to be used during the performance

In the event of inclement weather, which risks damaging musical instruments and military uniform, the show may be modified in length and size to avoid damage.

Refreshments and merchandise will be available to purchase 

Toilets: There are limited toilet facilities at Horse Guards Parade

There will be security searches. Please allow time for this

The police will confiscate any knives found during their searches at the entry points.  This includes penknives, Swiss Army knives, Leatherman or equivalent types of knives and any form of cutlery knife that may be used for picnics.  Please ensure that knives of any description are not brought to the event

In the event of inclement weather, which risks damaging musical instruments and military uniform, the show may be modified in length and size to avoid damage

If you are no longer able to attend, you may change the name(s) on the booking free of charge.  This must be notified to us by Monday 29th June 2026.

25% of the package price is non-refundable
If you wish to request a refund, the maximum amount that will be refunded is 75% of the package price paid.  Refunds can only be requested up to Friday 22nd May 2026; after that date, the cancellation fee is 100% of the package purchase price.


Refunds requested up to Friday 5th June 2026: 75% of the package price paid will be refunded.
Refunds requested between Saturday 6th June to Tuesday 23rd June 2026: 60% of the package price paid will be refunded.
Refunds requested after Wednesday 24th June: zero refund, but you can change the name(s) of attendees up to Monday 29th June 2026.

Any applicable refunds will be processed within 10 working days of receipt of request.

If you need to request a refund, or a name change, please email events@guardsmuseum.org.uk with the following information:
- confirmation number
- total amount paid
- name and date of package booked
- name of booker and guest details
- confirm if you would like to request a refund or change attendee details
- you will receive an acknowledgement of your email by return
- any requested changes will be confirmed within 5 working days; if a refund is due, this will be processed within 10 working days

Exclusive Tour Package FAQs

Wednesday 8th July
