There is no upper age limit for volunteering, however you must be over 18 to volunteer with us.
The skills required for a role depends on the opportunity and the nature of the role. Please explore our volunteer page for specific role requirements. For all of our roles, we look for enthusiasm, commitment and a friendly manner.
The Guards Museum recognises that work experience is different from volunteering. The museum is currently focussing on core activities and consequently regrets it does not have the capacity to organise work placements.
