Social Media Volunteer Role
This role suits people who are creative thinkers, with an interest in social media and digital content creation, and an appreciation of the value of storytelling in connecting audiences with the history of the Guards.
This role involves:
- Assisting in the creation of content across our social channels (Instagram and Facebook)
- Researching stories from across 380 years of history
- Using digital design platforms such as Canva
- Writing captions and video scripts
- Following our brand guidelines to ensure consistent tone of voice, style, length, colour palette, and typography
- Sourcing relevant imagery and visuals, ensuring appropriate credit and citations are given where applicable
- Identifying opportunities to collaborate with other relevant accounts, where appropriate
Volunteers should be available for a full day on site in the museum; currently we are looking for volunteers regularly available on Tuesdays.
Relevant training will be provided.
