1900s

The 20th Century saw two World Wars which killed millions across the globe. In the aftermath the world was divided in a Cold War between two rival superpower blocks, with nuclear Armageddon a real possibility. As the British Empire declined Britain faced economic, political and social challenges. It fought independently for the last time in the Falklands War,and joined International coalitions led by the UN or America.
