Free entry for all at The Guards Museum Open Weekend!

A weekend of family fun located in the heart of Central London!

Join one of our themed museum talks and even handle objects from our collection. Go one step further and try-on the iconic scarlet tunic and bearskin cap for a photo in a sentry box. Enjoy some refreshments while listening to a live military band from the Household Division! Speak to our re-enactors and get a peak into Army life throughout our history. For the little ones, we have a whole host of children’s activities including colour in your own medal, code breaking and more.

Forming part of  England’s largest community led festival of history and culture under Heritage Open days, we are exploring this years theme: Routes – Networks – Connections, taking a look at famous faces you may not have known were in the Army.
