Guided Tours
No one knows the museum’s collection better than our staff.
Take a tour led by our experts and learn the stories behind the objects on display, or see them from a different point of view.
Daytime Guided Tours for groups
Looking for something different! Give your family and friends an enjoyable and interesting time immersed in history, reward your hard working staff and colleagues, or impress your clients.
Within opening hours (10am-4pm Monday to Friday) the knowledgeable team at The Guards Museum will give your group a personal ‘Guided Tour’.
The tours normally take up to one and a half hours, and cover the history of The Foot Guards from the end of the English Civil War right up to the NATO led Afghanistan campaign. You will learn about the life of the officers and soldiers, the campaigns they fought in, their uniforms and equipment and their ceremonial role guarding the Sovereign and at the heart of events such as The Coronation of King Charles III.
We cater for groups of between 10 and 25 individuals, at a cost of £23.50 per head, including tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival. (£20.00 without tea on arrival).
Please note:
Guided Tours rates are for parties of 10 or more.
Parties of less than 10 may be possible but will pay the equivalent rate for 10 people.
The museum will be open to the public during your tour.

Exclusive access to The Guards Museum with Evening Guided Tours for groups
An Ideal after work reward activity or pre dinner experience. You will have exclusive entry to the museum for a group tour starting at 5.30pm or 6.00pm. The knowledgeable team at The Guards Museum will give your group a personal ‘Guided Tour’.
